Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of StudySnag. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What StudySnag is

StudySnag is a directory that aggregates paid research studies — focus groups, interviews, surveys, product tests, and clinical trials — from third-party research providers into one feed. We help you find and filter studies. We do not run the studies ourselves, we do not decide who qualifies, and we do not pay you: the research provider that runs each study handles eligibility, scheduling, and payment directly.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a US resident to use StudySnag. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and to keep it up to date, since it is used to match you to studies.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Do not misrepresent your identity or eligibility to qualify for studies — doing so may get you removed from research panels and from StudySnag.

Subscription and billing

Browsing studies is free. Registering for studies requires a paid subscription, which costs $7 per month after a 7-day free trial. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page, and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe.

No guarantee of studies or earnings

We do not guarantee that any particular studies will be available, that you will qualify for or be accepted into a study, or that you will earn any specific amount. Study availability, eligibility, and payment are determined entirely by the research providers. StudySnag is a tool for finding studies, not a promise of income.

Third-party studies

When you register for a study, your relationship is with the research provider that runs it, under their terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the conduct, payment, or content of third-party studies or providers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including scraping or copying the listings, attempting to disrupt the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudySnag is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from any third-party study.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
